You need more information on bipolar disorder, and then you can judge for yourself which doctor seems to be picking up on your symptoms best. Then you might even want to get a third opinion, which is a common and safe practice to follow when two physicians disagree on diagnosis. If you do suffer from manic depression, treatment is critical - and not just to improve your quality of life. Bipolar is lethal.
