I wasn't aware that bluebirds had a mean streak. I know bluejays are terribly unfriendly; they used to swoop down and peck the head of my cat (who deserved it, I'm afraid, as she was a talented and prolific bird killer).

But bluebirds? I saw them today (three days out of four!), and one actually went after another bird, but I see this all the time in the bird kingdom--with all kinds of birds. I consider all animals somewhat territorial, but they aren't all aggressive.

So I can't speak to bluebird traits, but when the time comes that you really need to step up to the plate (like when your family's life is threatened), you will. We all deal with family and life stuff differently. Don't get down on yourself because you're not aggressive. You won't be happier trying to wear qualities that don't fit on you.
