maybe that explains why my 10 yr old sofa has developed a big old butt-groove where I usually sit. not enough foam density. I tried moving to the other end, but it's not the same.
I concur, sofa-beds are crummy. They always manage to turn into torture-racks over time. futons are better, they wear out but it's not such a pain to replace them.
