I have also found that Wellbutrin seems to cause irritability, also muscle twitching. It amuses me to think that Wellbutrin/Zyban is supposed to help you stop smoking.
It's also irritating to me that my insurance company doesn't want to pay for Wellbutrin. Whether it's prescribed for depression or smoking cessation, surely it's cheaper than time in the psychiatric or oncology ward.
Despite the irritability, and having to pay for Wellbutrin out of pocket, I asked my psychiatrist for an anti-depressant that absolutely would not cause weight gain, which only makes everything worse.
I'm giving the stuff a month to make me cheerful.
