You don't advocate going off meds when one has a mental illness, do you? I've never gotten that from your posts, but this one seems to indicate that.
If so, then you ARE a danger to this community because some of us are often second-guessing the decision that actually saved our lives.
I was told by a tarot reader this weekend that my depression, mania and suicidal tendencies would go away once I discovered who I was. She said, "I've been suicidal" without having any concept of what that was. My depression stimmed from the fact that I didn't scream every morning and stand up for myself more.
Her irresponsibilty really threw me for a loop.
Please say this isn't part of your philosophy. Even my strict Christian parents are coming to accept the validity of medication for disorder of the brain.
