I don't know if that's even possible. Particularly if you live or work here. I'm seeing (in the press) and hearing (from friends or the radio) people feeling so guilty because they look at the skyline and can't remember where they used to be. One of my favorite views was down 6th Avenue from the Village ... a friend who did some post-doc work at NYU saw a picture I took of the view as it is now and called it "the Big Empty." Whatever they decide to build in that space, the Big Empty is always going to be there in my mind....
