Looking for Book - Everybody

Nature's Road to Recovery sounds very familiar-
also, I remember the author being a female. This might be the very book.
I know it's dumb to be embarrassed to ask a bookseller for a certain book (are there really books on foot fetishism?). My husband always says that I'm afraid of the wrong things. It doesn't phase me to stop at a convenience store alone at midnight in a bad neighborhood for a pack of cigarettes - but I'm afraid to ask a neighbor that I don't know well how she keeps the squirrels from digging up her tulip bulbs. I wonder if there is a name for this malady (besides "suicidal")or just some craziness I made up myself. Doubtful - like they say, there is nothing new under the sun.
Jay - the prescription drugs I'm taking right now are Xanax and Seroquel. The problem is that I have used so many drugs in the past - prescription, non-prescription and outright illegal, that I've managed to develop a huge tolerance to any drug...I need about 6 Advil for a simple headache. My doctor gave me the Xanax on condition that I start psychiatric treatment again, which I intend to do, so that will most likely mean more drugs.
But I'm trying to clean up my act. I'm trying.
