Mourning before Worrying about Actions...

Posted by Krazy Kat on September 12, 2001, at 10:50:18

I'm just so dissappointed that this never got resolved. There wasn't even a strong vibe out against anyone particular(as our "enemy") yesterday, and I have yet to see a majority of folks lamenting the deaths of our people without some sort of explanation, but instead almost an excuse, for why these terrorists may have done this.

What if your child were killed by another child? Would you automatically say, "Well, there's obviously something very wrong with that child, so I forgive him immediately"? Of course not. There would be a process to get you to that point, at the very least.

Again, the people on our minds should be those in NY and DC, not elsewhere.

There was a candlelight vigil in Woodstock last night and no one mentioned the terrorists' feelings. And everyone was praying to a different god, or meditating in a different way.
