Sorry to join in late too, I've been trying to catch up on some of the more recent threads.
I've enjoyed your posts very much, and contrary to your fears, have imagined you more as a rebellious hipster Patti Hearst type.
Your English is very beautiful--it seems to me that when non-native English speakers speak/write in English, it comes out very artistically.
In fact, if I had you here in front of me, I would make you say "cappuccino" and "espresso" over and over to hear you pull the u's and trill the r's.
