I can assure you that you're not the only one here from another country. A few of my very best friends here are from Canada, England, Australia and Germany. I come from California which, depending on who you ask, is it's own unique little country... :)
I've been here at PB for over a year and a half, and often times I don't feel like I belong either. It's not unusual to feel that way. Don't let that get you down. And if anyone here decides they don't like you because of stereotypes then you don't want them as a friend anyway.
