If your medication were a choreographer ...

Posted by lissa on July 15, 2001, at 13:15:00

Hi everybody,

I'm not sure where this post belongs. It's more of a silly question than a serious drug question, so I'm putting it on social-babble. I'll be so flattered if anyone answers it, but it's a weird one, so don't feel obliged.

I've been off wellbutrin for a week and, aside for requiring 6+ cups of coffee a day to make up for that lost umph, I've been feeling great. I hope it lasts.

In contrast to how I felt before last week, I am much calmer.

Looking back, I'd characterize wellbutrin as the talented choreographer who directed the steps of my life to the looney tunes theme song (or, at least in the very beginning, to La Bamba). I'm now back to my more Ella-Fitzgeraldy self (odd personification of mind-altering medication, I know).

If your drug of choice were a choreographer, to which tune would it direct the steps of your life?
