Do you know the generic (posh!!) name for Zoloft. I find all ssri's poop me out and cause constant tiredness... Would like to try one that gave me something more... does that make sense, and I've always been quite sensitive to amphets... hmmmmm

All SSRIs are also norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors to some (but not overwhelming) extent. Zoloft also has effects on dopamine, which are 1/3 of those of amphetamine ! So, now we know that nothing isreally "selective". However, Effexor acts far more than SSRIs or Norepinephrine. It is stroger than Remeron in this sense, somewhat weaker than Serzone, and much weaker than Edronax (a real noradrenaline reuptake inhibitor).
