Your assumption that I am drinking every or most nights is totally off the mark, as drinking even lightly is the exception and not the rule for me. And I am not currently on ADs so, so much for that (more understandable given the site)assumption.

However if your prior assumption had been true there are studies that cite one or two drinks every night or so of wine (and perhaps clear spirits) as being good for one's heart. So...go figure...
