I only have a minute before I have to run to work...
Re: your friend's ordination.
You did absolutely nothing wrong. You determined what was safe for you and what wasn't, and talked to the reception lady. It is not the world's responsibility to keep alcohol from you, it is your responsibility to stay away from it. It was kind of your friend to request no alcohol, but you prove every day that you can obstain. She doesn't need to protect you. You are doing a good job of protecting yourself every day.
As to her tiff with the reception lady... They are both over the top with this. And you are completely unrelated. Sounds like ordination lady was wickedly overstressed, and feeling over powerful (which makes sense), so she over reacted. But reception lady also overreacted. You can safely feel like you have nothing to do with this little spat - you don't. This is just between them. It is unfortunate, but it is NOT your fault.
I'm so glad your singing went well. I'm sure that your beautiful voice added a wonderful feeling to the ceremony.
Re: Roommate.
She is an alcoholic. This is what alcohol does. Figure out how to move out. Until you can move out, try to remember that it is her life that she is ****ing up, and try not to get dragged into it.
And please don't shut up.

And licks from my puppies.

Falls.
