Yes, I agree with Dinah. Find a social worker or some other kind of patient advocate. You are an adult, and legally, you are entitled to control your own medications. Your mother has no legal right to withhold them from you.

Can your doctor-prescribed medications be held for you at the outpatient clinic, where you can take them there everyday?

Please find someone there or at a community mental health clinic to help you set and maintain healthy boundaries with your mother.

I'm sorry this is so difficult. You'll get through it, though.
