I felt sick when I read this; of course that is PHYSICAL abuse; no way to know if he knew if it was hot or not, but even if it were NOT hot, why would he do that?
Sounds sadistic ; without knowing any other details; this is what i see.
I've been counseling abused women for past 10 years (just got out of 31 years of verbal abuse). I tell everyone; RUN, do not walk, and get the book which should be required reading for everyone on the planet:
The Verbally Abusive Relationship by Patricia Evans. ALL physical abuse begins with verbal abuse.
