Hey Ang!

To me its differnet with each friend. Everyone brings thier own individual differneces into a freindship. and then each friend you have to deal with all their diffenret personalities.
A good friend listens when you need someone to listen, a good friend is just there for you as you are for them.
For me, I care about my friends but I also think its totally healthy to have times where they annoy you. sometimes you need space, youi know?
IMO a friend is someone you think of, like if I go somewhere and a friend comes to mind in reference to something else. Not sure how to explain that.
Another thing about friends is that we need to be accepting of their downfalls as much as they are of ours.
This may not be helping or answering your question but I would say there are a multitude of feelings we hold for our friends, but it probably all comes down to how we are affected emotionally, if a friends actions bad or good illicite strong feelings then I beilieve that is a strong relationship. Indifference is a sign of nothingness.
having an interest in your friends is also important.
Im sorry I think I may have rambled on here, my last thought is, that its important to be open with friends. if you wonder about something its best to just ask them. Im thinking about that other post of yours. hmm if I have a better answer pop up Ill come back.
:-)
