thank you for the validation. I think I'm going to let him figure this one out. We've been down this road before, and I think I've made it too easy for him. He's too comfortable in his own head, and he gets to avoid emotional involvement because I let him. I probably shouldn't hold my breath, but I've really put this issue out there a bunch of times, and I'm going to let him resolve this conflict with my irrationality intact. Throwing things can just feel so satisfying sometimes.
