My male friends tell me that weight is neither here nor there... the important thing is being attracted to the women's features. Pretty eyes, pretty hair, pretty smile: those are the sorts of things that matter.
Men are often characterised as shallow and interested only in young, thin women, but I don't think that's generally true. Most men I know are interested in the whole woman: it's about a combination of looks and personality and attitudes and everything else.
I know what it's like to feel fat and ugly. I feel particularly fat and ugly at the moment... struggling to lose 50 pounds after the birth of my third child. But despite my disgust at the way I look in the mirror my husband still desires me. I don't know why, but I assume he sees beyond it.
I'm sure you are exactly what your husband wants, because you are you.
