Hi, Rahilka, and welcome to Babble. I am not certain of medications that help diminish racing thoughts during the day. Just the ones that help me get to sleep (ambien CR, Trileptal, and Tofranil).
Your question would likely get better answered on the main medication board.
However, since you are already here on Psychology, I can tell you that therapy led me to try out meditation as a form of relief during during the day. Specifically, Yoga Nidra, or guided meditation done during shivassana, has helped me calm down a great deal. I rotate through several recordings of guided meditations, and they have helped me focus much better during the day.
Don't know if that helped, but welcome to our community, and try out the Medication board for a chemical solution. I personally find a blend of medication and talk therapy has been most useful to me.
