My husband does that with TV shows. He'll think of an episode on an old TV show and then it will come on. He comes and tells me each time.
I don't necessarily believe in mystical forces, but I do believe there are things that aren't readily seen but can be observed.
Perhaps there are unremembered anniversaries that bring each of you to the other's mind before they call. Or something happens that independently reminds each of the other?
