I agree with whoever posted, but it sounds like for you the best way to get a more meaningful 'rational response' is to substitute optimistic for rational. I say that especially as it relates to your therapist - I know that you have been hurt and frustrated lately. But it would probably help if you stepped back and really thought about your therapist. It is hard to believe she does not care about you. When you get thoughts like that, you need to shake yourself a bit and really make sure you are being honest with yourself.
