I really would appreciate any advice you could give.
My HP returned from HP for the second system board replacement in two years. I've had nothing but troubles since with booting and then today with my monitor, and HP suggested that I restore to factory condition, which I've done. And darn it, so far no trouble except for having to reload the programs I reloaded all last week.
So my question is...
Is this purely coincidence, or something I somehow did wrong in reloading all my programs? I've had the Lenovo product page on my bookmarks all the time this one was in the shop, but I'd be paying it off a similar machine to this one for years and I'd rather keep this one. I've lost all confidence in this one though.
You said you had to restore to factory condition several times then had to buy a new one. Is that how it tends to go? Because so far I've lost the better part of three weeks to this computer being down and scrabbling to find an interim replacement and now fooling with reloading and now reloading again, and I can't afford to lose that amount of income.
