I've been reading this thread, trying to figure out how I want to respond. I think that you have come to terms with yourself, for the most part, as much as you have with your therapist. You know what you need from him in order to keep yourself stable. And I think knowing what we need is a huge piece of therapy.
You've always said, "forever therapy." I used to think you were just not willing to work on the hard issue of separating and being independent. But the longer I've known you and the longer I've been in my own therapy, the more I've come to understand what the relationship can mean to our emotional stability.
I also think there are probably always things to work on. The world just works that way.
Mostly I'm thinking that "we" as a group, if I can speak for the group, really care about you. So we question and worry because we want what's best for you. Clearly, you know what is best for you.
How nice that is. :)
