~ ~ ~ Putting them anywhere else in the room, if it's a small room, will NOT make a difference, in my opinion. Even covering them with a plastic shopping bag won't get rid of the fumes that are already in the room.I hope he will read the articles with an open mind. Please keep telling yourself, "this is a health issue". For some reason, I have noticed that a lot of people who have bad symptoms from scents do not feel comfortable standing up for themselves about it. It's easy to understand that also, because society (at least in Canada) PUSHES PUSHES PUSHES scent-this; aromatherapy-that (often NOT pure oils, but once again synthetic chemicals); 'fresh'-this; 'sanitized'-that. ETC. When my daughter has tried to find out what is in various products, often the scent part of the information is noted as "proprietary information" or something like that - in other words they don't have to tell, because it's a secret. Hmmmmmmmmmmm - I don't like chemical secrets.
Dinah, if you can tolerate it, you could take a large dose of Vitamin C before you go (preferrably 'buffered').
