Sid,
I have taken so many different cocktails in the last 30 months that it boggles the mind... or unboggles it? I was digging through the box of meds looking for some cipro yesterday and came across a graveyard of successful and less-than-successful trials. There's always the $900 worth of geodon capsules, for instance...The good news is that: although I'm the only one in the house taking psych meds, my cats and husband benefit tremendously. So, that averages one psych med per household member.

I was waiting at the pharmacy for over an hour once (to pick up an antibiotic, of all unlikely things) and I got to overhear the Rx that were being dispensed. One woman came up to the counter requesting her Rx for ativan, the next one for valium, and the man after her for ambien. So?
Yeah, the meds make therapy more tolerable. I no longer have panic before therapy. but maybe panic was a good thing, because then, once I became more emotionally controlled, I could form an association between therapy=calming down. Now I go in cool as a cucumber and come out all dysregulated. hence, therapy = scary place.
sorry. I go to bed now
