We had a huge blowup once because he never starts before ten after and his sessions generally run from ten after to the hour. Yet when I was late for the first time in eight years or so, he stopped the session at ten till, as if he would have started the session on time. I don't think he'd do that again.
But in general if he's late we run late. If I'm late he ends on time (or at the latest what is usually on time based on when he usually starts).
