That French analyst whose name I have quite forgotten (the one who talked about 'the gaze': I could never understand a thing he wrote) kept cutting down the length of his sessions.
I'm not sure if he ever got to the point of just having people mail in the cheques, but that would have saved you the trouble of driving.
