Hey Llurpsie, I know exactly what you are going through and like Realme I think it is dissociative episodes. I have had them probably since I was 2 or 3 and still have them. I have the out of body and lose time all the time. I did it this weekend. They are called fugues. My t told me that. My t says to remember that the danger you are recalling or reliving can't hurt you any more than it did when you went through it before. Who ever or whatever the situation was that the triggers are triggering you must remember you have already survived the worst when you were a child and you CAN do it again and must in order to release it from your adult self. You must tell yourself as it is happening YOU ARE OK> It is not easy as I can tell you I have experienced it too but that is how my T who has had many patients with this disorder tells me how you can get through these awful reliving of the past experiences. I don't know if that will help you or not. I am trying to do it myself and thought I would pass along what my T has suggested.
I care about you too. Reliving these events does not make you unloveable. They were past experiences of which you had no control over. They do no define you. Remember that. You are a special person not what you went through is you but who you are Llurpsienoodle a great person we all care about. Remember that!!! rk
