What a lovely thing HF! Your post moved me :) :) - how nice to read about 'happy' tears for a change! And it says a lot about where you are in your T and how much better things are between you both. I admire the work you have done regarding your old T - this must take a lot of strength and courage.

Of course getting back to the really hard stuff won't be at all easy but it sounds like you are in as good a place as any to re-commence this work.

As for the performances - you can do it!! Having performed a lot of solos in the past, albeit some years ago (I play the harp) the nerves are important - they give you the drive to give a performance. You can't die of stage fright and just think of the super feel-good feeling once the solo is over and the audience begin to applaud - that will make it all worth it. Good luck!
