If he answers, say, oh I was going to leave you a voice mail. But prepare what you wanted to tell him. I am lucky that my T has a voice mail number and a number that rings through to her office. So if I want to leave a voice mail, I use the voice mail phone number. Never have to worry about someone picking up, but it has happened a few times, out of hundreds of times that I've called. I am the voice mail queen, I don't believe in holding on to some thoughts till the next time you see your T. I hope you called and I hope you were able to leave a voice mail.
