In reply to Weirdest T dream I have ever had, posted by Happyflower on March 28, 2007, at 6:00:46
Hi Happyflower,
I'm imagining that this is my dream and how I would interpret it. I'm using *you* just because I haven't ended therapy and it'll get my brain confused more than it all ready is. So here goes.
Maybe the two-year-old represents that part of you that was dependent on your T. You realize that she doesn't need to be held all the time: you know you will be okay on your own now that therapy has ended. Your T thinking his daughter needs to be held might be that you want him to feel some kind of emotional closeness to you.
The house looking like a shrine to your mother might be that you are afraid that your T never really believed how much you do not want to be like her?
