Hi IWS,
I think you should be proud of yourself, definitely your will be in how you're managing to cope while she's gone.
I did laundry, today, too. It's unseasonably warm: upper 70s, and I hung in it on the line to dry.
Have fun with the dogs at the beach, and congratulate yourself for coping. You are doing it and seem to be doing it well.
