Yeah, it is a lot like that. In fact, when I went to see her I didn't even realize that one of the reasons I was so down was that a very close friend was moving away. I wasn't even conscious of the connection. Now, thanks to therapy, well, I'm more awake (which is good and bad in some ways.) Anyway, today feels better than yesterday but who knows, it's probably temporary. ;)
> I think it's ok to grieve any relationship that's been meaningful to you. Did you ever have a really good friend move away? I'm guessing it would be a lot like that. I still feel sad when I think about my friend who moved away a good ten years or more ago.
