Awkward!

Today I had a fairly intense appt w/ my pdoc where we were discussing some very heavy stuff abt my symptoms and treatment, etc. (She is great, I actually always get 1/2 hr and very regular follow-up, so I actually have a relationship w/ her). Afterwards, I needed to comfort myself a little, so I walked to the Starbucks across the street to get a latte and a muffin. Just as I finish paying, who walks up behind me, but my pdoc! OMG! It wouldn't have been so bad if we had just had a quick matter of fact session or if we had't just seen each other. Then they took FOREVER to get my coffee even though we were the only two people there. I was a little flustered and so I was trying to make small talk about her up-coming week off. Although I'm a little worried that it came out as prying or nosey. Sigh. Of all the luck!
