My therapist only took notes the first session or two. I never see any notes. My old therapist took notes every time, and wrote up a page to go in my chart. Once in a while she read them to me (if we couldn't remember what had happened the session before). You can ask your therapist about this.
Ask how long the session is supposed to be - I think usually they are 45 or 50 minutes, but your therapist could be an exception?
Somehow, I think, though, that you have more important things to talk about right now...
