My husband knows all about it, and is very supportive. Sometimes he even tells me I should go "tell my gang" about something. He would never read here, though. It's not his style or his interest. But he's very glad I have people to "talk" to about some of these things.
I'm taking classes in a counseling psych program, and I've mentioned it in class discussions sometimes. Usually when I'm trying to make a point about something that a lot of therapists don't seem to understand the same way that clients understand it. It's handy to be able to refer to babble as evidence, so it doesn't sound like I'm only talking about my own experience. I had a lot to contribute to a discussion about attachment to therapists the other day!
I've told my Ts about babble, but I'd be surprised if they ever visited. But I guess for me the value of babble is not so much dependent on it being private. I'm happy for anyone to hear what I have to say. It's just that in my real life no one has the experience with therapy to understand or be interested.
