Thanks for the 27 word reply. ;) For every question answered at least 2 new questions arise:

1) What does one do to become desensitized to triggers? (I know that gradual exposures are sometimes used for phobias).

2) Is the term unique to this site? or is it a widely used term in the psych. community?

3) When did the term come into use?

Thanks in advance -- a busy tomorrow.

PS -- Where do I post a fascinating tidbit about sleep? Health?
