I was, I was!!!
He said we would practice this in "our relationship". He said we can work on how to think less negative and relate those negative and critical statements in a less blunt way so I don't turn people off to me.
Oh gosh, when ya learn how to think less negatively, will ya let me know the secret?! I want your T!!!
> I asked him if he was comfortable talking about religion with me. He said yes, he said sex, religion, and politics are the taboo subjects in society, but these things need to be discussed in therapy sometimes.
Oooo, that sounds very good, no off limits subjects!
> Well during the week, I realized that my negative attitude may have something to do with my current problems more than the past. I gave him my very honest list of things, including how I feel about my marriage, and what that OBGYN did to me. Then I ripped it out of my journal and threw it away in his trash, so in case something happened to me on the way home, it would become a legacy or hurt anyone.Good for you for getting all of this out and hashing it over with him. I'm glad that he was so receptive to everything. Now you know you can go into your sessions with anything, and he won't be phased by it.
I feel so much better! :) Happyflower is much more happier now!
I'm so HAPPY for you happyFlower! This is all really good news!
