I'm impressed with the concern you have already Susan for your new T. Especially having read some of your posts about the old one who has such a lingering effect on you. I think its a good sign and bodes well for your being able to form a therapeutic alliance with her. My trouble with changing Ts has always been having an over-idealized view of my favorite T who retired. But if I'm honest, your situation sort of parallels the expectations I can never measure up to in comparing myself to my idealized self, if that makes any sense. Grist for the mill. Of couse another non-psychological way of looking at it is, you are simply a really considerate person.
