I'm glad things are working out for you. I can see where a change in orientation would give some fresh hope and renew interest.

You know, I suspect that part of why I didn't respond was that your situation was a bit terrifying to me. (OK, more than a bit.) Your therapist made a rather sudden decision, didn't she?

It's reassuring to me that someone is handling the transition well.
