Cass,
You say your self-esteem is better than it used to be, and that sounds pretty healthy all right. I went through something like this too. What really helps me is also hard to do when I'm depressed, so it's a thing that goes up and down, like me. Frustration + Susan = Disaster (think trainwreck, all one word justlikethat).
PS Dr. Bob - I have to post this now even though my thought isn't finished, because if I make this too long, I might hit "Submit your post" and if there's a glitch in the system, it won't post and I'll have to cut and paste into a new one. At least that's been my way of dealing with it.
