Dr Bob'll probably hate me for saying this, but a couple of weeks ago, when I was feeling really bleak, I started writing to the Samaritans. I just didn't feel safe enough on this board - too vulnerable. With the Samaritans I could go into as much gory intimate detail as I liked without any fear of criticism, and they invariably came back with comfort and non-judgemental support. Of course it is not an open board like this with all the hustle and bustle of a busy place. There it is your individual email to the Samaritans that gets picked up and replied to by one of their trained counsellors. They do take a few hours to get back to you, but I found them to be really helpful for a crisis. You can find them at www.samaritans.org
