hi Susan,
I suppose from an 'objective observer' standpoint Dr. Bob & crew would have to be interested in the ebbtides of our written psyches and therefore MUST love to watch our ups and downs. But many of us here care about you as a person, too -- not just a statistic or a "web case study" to observe!
(Although: Dr. Bob seems like a decent guy; even though he can't get to know each of us personally, I'm sure there's more to it than just watching with distant impersonal interest. I'm willing to bet you matter more than you think!)
**Sidenote: I don't know how many people comprise "Dr. Bob" -- is it really only one man, or mostly one man plus some help from grad students /assistants/etc? **
Anyway, don't be paranoid...you're interesting on MANY levels -- the personal as well as the 'lab rat'!
Jen (I'm a Lab Rat) Star
PS - If I'm going to be a lab rat, I want to be one of those cute ones that have lots of fur and look more like guinea pigs than actual New York City sewer rats. I also want a pretty soft coat, gentle eyes and whiskers, and a cute tail! And maybe a pink collar with a little pink bell. And boots for wintertime.
(OK...enough now...must stop with the rat talk!!)
