What a wonderful story!
My husband sang the song to my son when he was a baby, and we spent this evening singing that one and the one I sang him ("Mommy's Little Boy") and the one he sang to my husband ("I'm So Glad When Daddy Comes Home").
But he's only seven and was more mortified than reminiscent. I'll bet you and your sisters had a lot more fun.
