The prize - can I share a story?

When I saw this post, I instantly remembered the tune in my head, but really had no idea where it came from. I still will admit that I've never seen "Bye, Bye Birdie", but what a prize I got for knowing the tune. Without going into too much boring detail, my sisters are a bit older than me and we have different moms (theirs passed away when they were 11 and 13). They didn't like my mom much, but have often told me everything changed for our family when she had me. They accepted and grew to love her because they loved me. This morning, I remembered them singing the song with my name in it. They sang lots of songs to me. So, I called one of them to find out where it was from and we shared some good memories. I reminded the other one about it this evening.

It's kind of a silly song, but it's been in my head all day. So, I took the opportunity to give my little guy some good memories and I sang it to him before bedtime.

Gosh, falls, you don't even know how much my sisters and I needed this. Thank you!
