This assumes, of course, that you see suicide as an act of anger at oneself - a means of punishment, so to speak. But I don't see it that way at all. I see it as an escape of sorts. When I've felt suicidal, it wasn't because I felt I should be punished or because I was necessarily angry at myself (though I guess that is always part of the problem for me anyway) - the primary issue was that I didn't want to hurt anymore. I wanted the pain to end.P
