My therapist, who I've seen almost every other week for two years, does psychodynamic therapy but I've never really understood what that means. Can you please fill me in? I get homework every now and then, but the sessions are kind of like me talking about whatever I want to talk about and her correcting my wrong thinking. She also said that she uses a variety of techniques tailored to the individual.
