Your feelings of anger, moodiness, and feeling plain stupid (like turning in wrong stuff to your boss) are very normal. Do not be too hard on yourself, especially if your depression was do to a boyfriend, it is highly possible that you don't have a chronic mental illness and the drugs served a purpose at the time and are not necessary anymore!:) I have taken many different antidepressants and I am currently weening myself off of Lexapro this week. I generally liked it but I felt I gained weight in the few weeks I was on it and decided to get off of birth control and other prescription drugs to "detox" if you will, for hopes of starting a family in the future...and now I have a migrane and muscle tension in the base of my skull, also muscle tension in my body and back. I go through waves of nausa, dizziness and fatique and then the next minute I am ok. I also feel like I make very stupid mistakes I normally wouldn't, and driving can be interesting! The feeling is temporary as you may or may not know and there is light at the end of the tunnel for you. Do yourself a favor, and pamper yourself ... don't try to fight it, or be a superwoman, and take on too much during this time. Many of your daily tasks and extra plans can wait! You need to mentally rest too! Hang in there and please let me know when you start feeling better and how long it took!
