hi. zoloft can numb you out if that's what you want. decide what you want, i guess. if you do not want to feel, then ssri's can be helpful. if you want to feel, but you sometimes find the anxiety too hard to bear, then i agree to head the route of a benzo as needed. if you move towards taking a benzo regularly each day, then you will also move towards not feeling as much either. if you are doing therapy, it's my humble opinion that it's best to be able to feel so you can get through the stuff and move on... and use the benzos when you need to. if you aren't doing the therapy route and just want to cover it up, then numbing out would be the way to go. i'm not advocating either way for you, but just giving you the options from one who feels a bit experienced in this area. :-) take care,
